Immerse yourself in a weekend of Connection, Dance, and breathtaking nature. We are excited to invite you to a special Contact Improvisation retreat in the stunning Megalong Valley.

Bringing Joerg to the Blue Mountains has been a long-held dream. As I began hosting regular local classes, that dream evolved into a clear intention: to share a deeper, more immersive experience with our community.

I deeply admire Joerg’s teaching style and his unique gift for weaving truly special—even magical—spaces in his workshops. I am thrilled beyond words that he has generously agreed to travel here and share his craft with us on Dharug and Gandangara Land.

We’ll dance in a beautiful, newly restored hall overlooking majestic cliffs and gather by the creek under the vast sky. This is a chance to deepen your practice in an inspiring, communal setting.

Provisional Schedule
Friday: Arrive & settle in. Session: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Saturday: Session 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Afternoon Session 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Sunday: Session 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Closing Session 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM

(break lengths may adjust for weather)

Accommodation Options
Camping (Included): Free camping at the picturesque Old Ford Reserve, just 10 minutes from the hall. Includes toilets & campfire spots.

Other Lodging: If you prefer not to camp, please contact Ark directly to help coordinate options.

Food & Nourishment
Provided: Hearty, catered dinners on Friday & Saturday evening.

Self-organised: Breakfasts and lunches. We’ll facilitate picnic-style lunches with the option to BYO or order from the lovely Megalong Valley Tea Rooms.
