The sessions will always start with a deep somatic warm up, to sense connections through the body and to access the improvisers mind.
Partly we will create very focused but rather open frames for dancing and researching together. Lots of the learning will happen through dancing.
On the other hand we’ll work on specific technical skills to move more smoothly and effortlessly though all spacial levels – alone & with a partner, lifts are part of that exploration. Listening and communication skills for working with touch is another anchor in the work. And wishes from participants or curiosities that pop up in the journey will have a strong influence on our journey together.
Preferably designed for people with at least some basic experience in Contact Improvisation, who want to dedicate a month into a journey of movement research and personal growth. However, knowledge and experience from other movement or dance disciplines can be very supportive and welcome in this adventure.
