I am having a very dance-inspiring time in Germany and I want to share the freshness of my findings soon after coming back to my Australian home community.

BEING AVAILABLE

„I wish to be available in all parts of my body to move in all possible directions in every moment“ – that’s how I remember Katja Mustonen, a dear colleague of mine, defined the ‚contact body‘. Wonderfully ambitious for a humble person. I would add ‚… being available in an organised and connected way.‘

I want to share strategies to follow the dance into less obvious directions. Finding a lightness in allowing changes. And as a nourishing and sometimes challenging contrast I invite us to stick to ‚one thing’ for longer than we habitually would. How can we stay present and find an inner aliveness or even freedom when we commit to a situation that feels limiting.

These are my current ideas – there will be more. Somatic Work as a preparation to meet each other and Technical Essentials will be part of the Workshop. My biggest wish though is that we spend time to really dance together and inhale the flavour of our community.
