DEEPENING CONNECTION
For one week we’ll journey together, dancing on the smooth floor of the Cooran Town Hall and sharing time in nature.

Various moments of our days will be in silence, like some meals, dance sessions or outdoor activities. Senses open differently, our inner voices are heard more easily, we feel other nuances when meeting each other.
Compared to other Retreats we had in Cooran, we want to connect more to the stunning land we’ll be living on with the wish to deepen a sense of being grounded and part of the more-than-human world. Our main practice to integrate everything is the universe of Contact Improvisation. Joerg will facilitate these spaces feeding in essentials around organising the moving body, communication through touch and weight-sharing situations, adding whatever is needed to deepen connections to self, others and the group.

We’ll celebrate life and community when swimming in the big dam, hanging out together in our sheltered living area, sharing body work, singing, seeing the stars and feeling the warmth of the fire.
Ohn Pi will pour his love into our warm lunches and support the co-creation of our dinners. For that we encourage everyone to contribute to the community pantry. You need to cater for your own breakfast while basics like cereal and muesli are provided.
Participants should feel comfortable enough to navigate through open dance frames like Jams.

We’ll have two main dancing sessions per day plus morning practice, a long lunch break at the campsite and possibly once a special evening session. You pace yourself according to your needs.
FEES$550 normal
$475 concession
Donations will support people who can’t afford the concession option.
There is an extra fee for camping still in negotiation, max $25/ night.
